Cheese steaks are FABULOUS!!!!! Fun atmosphere. Small town vibe, good music, casual, comfortable.
I stopped in here with some friends for dinner and drinks. We didn't feel like cooking or cleaning, and wanted to sit down and enjoy some ambiance. This place provided that for us. A comfy little bar and grill with a couple pool tables. Seems like the best spot to gather with some friends, and grab a bite to eat as well as some liquid courage. As I was looking over the menu, I couldn't stop looking at the Reuben. And I've been on a Reuben kick lately, so I had to see what this one was about. Let me tell you, this sandwich as DELICIOUS. I don't like how other restaurants have sliced corned beef on the sandwich, making it like a warmed up cold cut. That's something I can make at home or get at Arby's. This sandwich had pulled corned beef on it. That's just how I make them. This has to be the best Reuben I've had at a restaurant. I can't recommend this spot and dish enough.
Staff is great! Food is some of the best bar food in the state. The pizza compares with/better than most pizzerias. Price is excellent for both food and drink. The daily specials are always on Facebook and always good.
Neighborhood bar and restaurant that is very dear to the locals. I've had many great meals in here. Now let's talk about the pizza. This is not a pizza place per se but they have a recipe from who knows where and it's really really good, so good they can go up against some pizza chains. I am not a crust person but the crust on the pizza here is very good. The last several pizzas we ordered we had plenty of ingredients they weren't skimpy like some places. And I ate all the crust pieces because they were soft and chewy and I never do that. The last piece is just as yummy as the first. In this day and age where it seems like everybody is trying to nickel and dime you the prices here are very reasonable. Oh I forgot to mention Taco Tuesday very popular try to get here before everyone gets out of work so you can get a seat if that's possible. I have a friend that drives up from Berkey Ohio for Taco Tuesday That's how much he likes it and he's got Sylvania right on his back door so what does that tell you?
We were here shortly after noon on a Tuesday. Service was fast and friendly. The half order of nachos was a good amount for me and the chicken quesadilla was enough for my wife for two meals. Both were tasty. The beer was cold. We will go again if we are ever near there when we are hungry.
